Pupils & parents enjoy Canterbury Cathedral service after 2 years away

The Junior King’s community gathered in Canterbury Cathedral at our annual Start of Year Service for the first time in nearly two years.

During the 30-minute service on September 16th, we heard readings from a number of Year 8 pupils, sang hymns and listened to an address from the Dean of Canterbury.

Afterwards, parents stayed in the beautiful Cathedral Precincts for coffee and conversation, while Year 5 pupils were guided on a tour of The King’s School by current students.

It was a pleasure to be back in such an inspirational and iconic building!
