OJKS pupils to head for national hockey trials

Four former Junior King’s pupils will be taking part in national hockey trials over the half term break.

Rebecca Hutchings, Harriet Brealy, Esme De Haan (OJKS, 2018) and Iona Boyd (OJKS, 2016) – pictured here during their time at Junior King’s and now at the senior school – will be attending the England Hockey U16 and U18 Trials in the second week of half term, where they will take part in a series of training days under observation for selection purposes. All were talented hockey players during their time in the Junior School and we are thrilled to see them continue to flourish. We wish each of them the very best of luck.

We are always pleased that so many of our pupils pursue their talents in an extracurricular context outside of school. In current pupil hockey news, Lottie (Year 7) and Archie (Year 8) have both been attending the Kent Development Centre Hockey Training programme this term to bolster their skills. Congratulations to both pupils on pursuing their talents!
