The orchestra meets once a week on Monday at 12.45.  It is conducted by Mr. W. McConnell, who is an experienced conductor both at school and with the Band of the Royal Marines. All students who learn an orchestral instrument are welcome to join.  All those who aspire to music scholarships are expected to participate. 

The orchestra plays at all the formal concerts as well as the carol service in the Cathedral.
